Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.
The objective of Super Lawyers is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys in New York that can be used as a resource for attorneys and consumers searching for legal counsel.
At Siegel & Coonerty, we believe it is important that the lawyer you choose to handle your injury case be a member of the select attorneys who have been chosen as a Super Lawyer.
Please be aware that not all attorneys selected as a Super Lawyer have the same deep experience or requisite know-how on how to handle complex personal injury matters as we do at Siegel & Coonerty.
Andy Siegel has been selected as a New York Super Lawyer continuously since 2010; Sean Coonerty since 2014. Each year Siegel & Coonerty dedicate their Super Lawyer statement to the courageous survivors of traumatic brain injury, as the firm has a compassionate interest in seeking justice for these individuals.

Sean Coonerty

Managing Partner

Sean is the Managing Partner at Siegel & Coonerty. After graduating from Binghamton University, he attended Brooklyn Law School. He was hired as an Associate Attorney at a prominent medical malpractice defense firm directly out of law school. He discovered his calling was to fight for the victims of negligence, not defend the perpetrators. In 2001 he began working with Andy Siegel at his firm and by January 2008 Sean became Andy’s partner. Together they founded Siegel & Coonerty, LLP in 2011.

How to Select the Right TBI Lawyer

Make the Right Choice

Siegel & Coonerty is a leading New York personal injury and medical malpractice firm specializing in Traumatic Brain Injury and Construction Accident cases.

Our entire practice is dedicated to representing individuals who sustained serious bodily injury as a result of errors in medical care and accidents causing serious injury.

Selecting the right attorney is an important life decision that requires personal contact. So, whether you’re here for yourself, a loved one, a friend or a neighbor, we suggest the best way to start is by calling us right now at (212) 532-0532. We are committed to listening closely to what happened and providing you with the compassion, attention, and legal assistance that you need during this stressful time.

You should also discuss the accident or medical malpractice that found you here with other attorneys too, so when a decision is made on representation, it will be an informed one.

Choose an attorney with extensive courtroom experience; an attorney with a balance of intelligence and understanding of the changes brought about by your injury, and an attorney with whom you connect. Most of all, select an attorney you believe will make a difference for you and your family.
